The new compact geometry knobby x It's no secret that the Knobby X is a favorite to many. From it's super tough light weight design, to it's rock steady race-performance handling, it's no wonder why. Whether you race, commute or just enjoy the pure pleasure of the open road, Knobby X is a bike for all occasions. It's a known fact that regardless of how many bikes a person owns, it's not long before thier Knobby X becomes thier number one. Back in 05' we greatly improved Knobby X. While we kept the basic overall geometry and virtual sizing, we listened to what alot of people had to say and went back to our original straight "euro" chain stay design. This means you can run any style of crank that you want without having to use a wide spindle. While we were at it, we gave the new Knobby X a semi-compact cut and an 1 1/8" head tube. The bottom line is we wanted our bikes to be totally interchangable and fun -- the way bikes should be. Knobby on!
